On the water & on the road
The lake is the road here. What follows is how you move on it, and what waits in the garage when you would rather leave it.

Yacht
Arriving at a restaurant by water is the difference between visiting Lake Como and staying on it. The boat is the estate's own, so the day is yours to shape; what we plan together is where to stop — some landings have to be arranged in advance, and which ones are worth using changes with the season.
Seaplane
Como has flown seaplanes off this water since 1930 — the oldest such operation anywhere. Taking off from the lake and seeing the whole of it at once is a short flight that guests talk about for years.

The garage
Two Porsches and a G-Class for the passes above the lake, and three cars with drivers for the evenings when nobody should be driving. Airport runs are arranged the same way.

Electric bikes
Ten Super73s. The lakeside villages are close enough to reach without a car and far enough apart that the assistance is welcome on the way back.
Camper van
For the two or three days when the estate is not the point — the Valtellina, the passes, the Engadin. It leaves stocked and comes back to a made bed.
