Leisure
Where the day loosens. The pool and the terrace for the hours of light, the games room and the screening room for after dinner.

Swimming pool
The pool sits on the terrace above the water, so the swim and the lake read as one surface. Loungers, shade and a table are set out before you come down.

Lakeside terrace
Stone underfoot, a fire bowl in the middle, the lake on three sides. This is where the group ends up before dinner without anyone having planned it.
Outdoor barbecue
An outdoor kitchen for the evenings when the dining room feels like too much. The chef cooks in front of you, or hands you the tongs and steps back.
Games room
The room that keeps a mixed group together when the weather turns. Nothing here needs booking and nothing needs to end at a particular hour.
Billiards room
A full-size table, good light over it, and a bar within reach. Games here have a way of running past midnight.
Screening room
A proper screening room, not a television in a sitting room. Tell us the title in the afternoon and it will be cued up, with something to drink, by the time you sit down.
Meeting room
For the hour of work that could not be moved. A closed door, a clean table and a connection that holds — then back out to the lake.
